What Is WiMAX?

WiMAX, the Worldwide Interoperability for Microwave Access, is something that most people may not know about, but they may find themselves using very often in the future. This wireless data technology offers broadband access in areas where it may not have previously been available or where it was financially infeasible to get it, which is why it is quickly becoming so popular. WiMAX that offers broadband access makes the internet available at any time of the day or night, as well as increasing bandwidth to wireless devices like cell phones for additional data transmission power. This increased bandwidth is thought by some experts to have increased electromagnetic radiation, which can increase your exposure to radiation and thus, your possible exposure to health issues that are associated with radiation.
